Meeting of New Mappings of Europe (NME) partners with the participants of the Southern Constellations exhibition, residency and mediation programmes and some representatives of local communities of migrants.
The meeting will take place at the +Kantina MSUM, a museum café which provides migrants with an opportunity to work and utilize their knowledge in preparing traditional dishes. +Kantina organizes its own programme of events, part of which is also New Mappings of Europe series Migrations in Time and Space, conceived by publicist and musician Miha Blažič N'Toko.
The aim of this meeting is to exchange experiences and knowledge about the mediation and residency programme of the NME and present some local initiatives. The NME partners: Heinrich Pichler (ABKW), Simonetta Ferfoglia (ABKW), Elinor Morgan (MiMA), Ana Panić (MY), Katarina Živanović (MY), Simona Ognjanović (MY), Sara Sopić (MY) will be joined by Sara Fabjan and Hassan Quasquei, representatives of the +Kantina, Jana Milovanović, president of the Terra Vera Association for Sustainable Development and some members of the Migrantour project, Natalija Veselič Martinjak, art teacher at the elementary school Livada and one of the mentors for Social games project, Tanja Završki, architect and activist. The debate will be moderated by Adela Železnik, a curator at the MG+MSUM.
